From The Heart Of The Apostle:

I greet you in the name of our Lord and Savior Jesus Christ!

It is with great joy that I write unto to you, to share how grateful I am that God has brought us together for such a time as this. I believe that God has an awesome plan for our lives, individually and corporately. Let me pause for a moment to stop and thank God for how He is blessing this church family. Week after week, we are growing in the Spirit and in numbers. It is my prayer that every member of this assembly will come to know and understand what the will of God is for their lives.

I am sure that God has purpose for bringing us together, every member for the fulfillment of His will. I believe that God is up to something BIG and we are so blessed to be part of it. To every new member, we say, "welcome-welcome-welcome." I want to challenge you to get involved in the work of God. Use your God given talents, gifts and abilities to glorify God.

This local assembly has a call of God to:

  • Change lives

  • Impact this community

  • Strengthen the weak

  • Share the gospel with the lost, and the instructions of the Word of God so that families will be blessed and function the way God designed it be

  • Bring hope, encouragement, salvation and a message of freedom to those in bondange.

This church has been chosen by God. He is aware of our strengths and weaknesses. He knows what needs to be done and who will be instrumental in accomplishing his purpose. I say unto you my brothers and sisters, it is time for us to arise. God is able to strengthen our hands to complete the work he has called us to do. We are a chosen people of purpose and passion, full of power and potential, on course with our destiny following the lead of the Holy Spirit.

I thank God so much for the wife he gave me to help me. I thank God for each one of you for trusting me to watch over your souls, to feed you with knowledge and understanding to lead you the people of God to greener pastures.

I didn't understand why God brought me to this church in 1989. I did not want to be here, but God had a purpose and plan for sending me here. As I look back over the years, I have watched God move in so many ways. I witnessed God by His Spirit changing so many lives, yet there are still so many more. I thank God for trusting me to teach his people and to preach the gospel for our Lord. When I came here, there was less than a hundred people. Now there are hundreds. God said the Church would grow to thousands.

Church of the living God, this is our season to rise and build lives, homes, cities, and buildings. It's time to believe that nothing is impossible with God.

In the words of Paul, God is able to do exceeding abundantly, above all that we ask or think according to the power that worketh in us (Ephesians 3:20). There is a Power that is working in the people of God. Families are being saved, and husbands are coming home to their responsibilities. As Pastor, my prayer is that God would cause men to hear his voice. The family is a priority because only when the family is saved and strengthened will the church, community and city be strong and following generations secured.

The Word of God says, " I will stand upon my watch, and set me upon the tower and will watch to see what He will say unto me, and what I shall answer when I am approved. And the Lord answered me and said,  write the vision and make it plain upon tables that he may run that readeth it. For the vision is for an appointed time, but at the end it shall speak, and not lie. Though it tarry, wait for it; because it will surely come, it will not tarry." ( Habakkuk 2: 1-3)

God has placed His leaders upon the wall that they may have foresight, insight and oversight of His people. The leadership of the church must know and be able to convey God's vision to His people. We are told in the Word of God, " Where there is no vision, the people perish," (Proverbs 29: 18). I believe what the Holy Spirit is saying to the church must be clearly defined. The leadership must first hear what the Holy Sprit is saying. In Revelation 2:7, " He that hath an ear, let him hear what the Spirit saith unto the church," and then write it down, wait for the proper time, and then run with it. The destiny of the church is in the hands of God's appointed leaders who diligently seek to do the will of God.

Therefore, it is of great importance that each leader become clear and steadfast in the selecting of who we become yoked together or associated with, that the vision may come forth healthy and righteously. For truly we cannot afford to allow ourselves to stumble into the next move of God. For this is our time, for our thing, from our God! In this city, it is time to rise up and build, raise standards, take back our community, pull down every stronghod, and everything that exalts itself against the knowledge of God. We must be prepared to pull down the strongholds of mediocrity in route to fulfilling destiny and purpose. We must understand God created all of us to rule, govern, control and influence the earth. We must at this time embrace the will of God without question, doubt, or hesitation. It is time for the church to cooperate with the Holy Spirit as He brings the vision of this house into reality.

Believe Ephesians 3:20-21 which says, " Now unto Him who is able to do exceeding abundantly above all that we ask or think according to the power that worketh in us, Unto Him be glory in the church by Christ Jesus throughout all ages, world without end. Amen."
